An Animal Health Certificate (AHC) is the document required for pets to travel as companions, non-commercial exports, to the EU and other destinations
James, Hollie and Marketa are the Official Veterinarians who are able to issue animal health certificates
An AHC can only be completed within 10 days of travel to the EU
Each AHC can validate movements of up to five Pet Dogs, Cats, or Ferrets
Once issued, following entry into the EU, the pet is allowed to return on the same AHC within 4 months of issuance
The original document is to travel with the pet(s), a certified copy is to be kept with the practice
AHC work is to be booked in with James, Hollie or Marketa as the OV’s in the practice
The consultation can take up to an hour
