January 2024 Clinic Update

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a great New Year and Festive period!

As you can see from our team pictures we tried to make the most of the Christmas festivities participating in Christmas Jumper Day and sharing a team Christmas party!

We ended our year with over 1000 clients on our Wellness Subscriptions which was a great achievement as it’s something we are proud to be able to offer to clients. We really appreciate our community being engaged with pet care and we find Wellness Subscriptions are great way to help pet owners stay informed, giving pets the best care in clinic and at home through a collaborative approach.

We are very excited for what 2024 has in store as we expand our expertise on cardiology and focus on dentistry, pet travel, our in house nurse clinics and our popular wellness subscriptions!

Introducing our new RVN….

On 18th December Megan Shaw joined our clinical team as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)!

“Hi I'm Meg! I'm an RVN. I have two rabbits, a sausage dog and an FIV+ Cat who I took in as a stray. I have been working with animals since I was 15 and have cared for a range of animals from the tiniest mouse to the biggest of lions! I am very excited to be starting at James Horner Vets and cannot wait to meet everyone’s lovely pets!”

Celebrations in January……

Birthday girls!

Sophie D will be celebrating her birthday on 4th January and Samantha T will be celebrating hers on 17th January!

We wish them both a very Happy Birthday!

Work anniversary for Kat!

The 3rd January marks Senior vet Kat’s 1st work anniversary here at James Horner Vets and what a year it has been! 2024 looks even more exciting for Kat as we have a focus on Cardiology and referrals that Kat will be managing.
