RVN Meg takes on her own personal challenge…..
On 6th July Meg took part in Tough Mudder at Belvior Castle raising money for Dougie Mac; a charity of her choice; which is a hospice working in Staffordshire & the surrounding areas. The charity cared for her Grandad who sadly passed away from terminal cancer in 2016.
Meg always wanted to do it but never believed she would as everyone had always told her how difficult it was. She even overcame a deathly fear of water and heights & when on to complete it in just over 2 hours! Well done Meg!!
Celebrating 3 birthdays this month!!
August is a busy month for team birthdays as Sarah celebrates hers on 5th, Meg celebrates hers on 16th and Freya celebrates theirs on 23rd! We wish them all the very best on their special days!

As a new feature to our monthly newsletter we will be ‘spending 5 minutes’ with a different member of the practice team each month.
Last month we sat down with Sarah and next month we will continue with receptionist Samantha so if you have a question you’d like to ask or just something about Samantha that you’d like to know (perhaps if she has any hobbies or what made her want to join the veterinary industry) please send us an email to reception@hornervets.com or send a message/comment via our Facebook page by Thursday 22nd August.
