June Clinic Update: A Tough Month, Our First Birthday, A New Team Member and Holidays!
A Tough Month: John Horner Tribute
May has been tough personally. Some clients may be aware of our reduced services earlier in May as a result of a family emergency. The emergency was the sudden passing of my father, John Horner.
I wanted to raise awareness to this tragic event to share the huge contribution he gave to the inception, starting and on-going support of James Horner Vets. Without his inputs I don’t believe we would have ever got the idea off the ground. He always loved reading the reviews and commenting on the pictures clients were posting.
I want to thank all my team and all our clients for the understanding given during this time. Along with their support and the help from other local practices, notably White Cross Vets in Kings Heath, and Broad Lane Vets in Coventry, we have been able remain open during what has been a difficult time.
Thank you for your understanding.
It’s our 1st Birthday - Join us for our open day celebrations!
The 21st June marks 1 year from our first opening of the doors! This is a huge milestone in our journey and we couldn’t have done this without you!
To celebrate we are planning an Open Day between 12.30 - 15.30 on 21st June. You can come and take a ‘behind the scenes’ look at what goes on at the practice and grab a yummy cupcake! Please call to reserve your tour time slot.
A New Vet: Michelle Heron
This month we can announce the start of a new vet - Michelle!
Michelle graduated from the University Of Liverpool and has worked throughout her career in first opinion small animal practice. She knew from the age of six that she was destined to become a Veterinary Surgeon and is very proud to be fulfilling her lifelong passion. She has two cats Sam and Merry who welcome her home after a day's work with purrs and cuddles. Away from work you can find her enjoying the great outdoors, including activities such as park run, skiing and cycling.
Michelle has chosen to join James Horner Vets because their passion for providing an exemplary service to both pets and clients matches her own values. She hopes to bring a relaxed and patient approach to her consultations, ensuring that clients leave feeling their concerns have been understood and addressed. She has interests in both medicine and surgery and particularly enjoys welcoming her feline patients!
