September Clinic Update: Engagements, Baby Due Dates and More!

We are thrilled to share the news of Elle-Rose’s engagement!
Louis got down on one knee when they were on holiday and popped the question! No date has been set yet but we are all very excited for them both. When you come in next ask to see the ring!
ANOTHER New starter….!!
This month sees Louise Ryan joining our team to help Freya at the front. Joining as a Veterinary Receptionist and Client Account Manager, Louise has a background that has spanned airport security amongst other roles. Louise is enthusiastic and has a love of all creatures great and small. Keen to deliver a caring service, Louise will be a great addition to the team. Photo to follow soon!
Promotions and Role Developments
We are growing fast and with it comes new people, new roles and new opportunities!
Last month Sophie Dobrev started in her new position as Head Registered Veterinary Nurse! With this role comes more responsibility on both clinical and organising, focused on ensuring the best nursing care is delivered to all our clients and their patients. Sophie has been with us from day 1 and has been invaluable in the growth an success to date so we are thrilled she has taken on the position!
Freya Seymour has also been awarded a promotion to Senior Receptionist and Client Account Manager. Many of you will know Freya and the work done supporting all our clients at the front of the practice. In addition to this, Freya undertakes a lot of administration and support for the wider practice running.
Sarah Green and Katrina Nagra are both starting their Student Veterinary Nurse Apprenticeships this September. Katrina has been a member of the team as a VCA since last year and was awarded a place a Bottle Green Training centre, whilst Sarah has been helping out on Thursdays as a VCA and been award a place at Solihull College. We are really pleased to be able to support their ambitions on becoming registered veterinary nurses. The course is run over 3 years so it is a big commitment!
Baby Due…
Some clients may be aware but James and his wife, Anneli, are expecting their first baby due 30th September. As with all due dates, they are rarely accurate so be prepared for a last minute change should James be called to daddy-duties!

Travelling with your pet
Travelling with pets this month has been in full swing with Europe high on the list of destinations!
Going to Europe with your pet now requires specific paperwork known as the Animal Health Certificate. Make sure you know everything you need in good time so there is no last minute rush.
What to Feed Your Cat
Feeding your cat can be problematic. Fussy cats is a common occurrence, and they like to “go -off their food” when you have committed and bought an enormous quantity of it!
