Pet of the Month: October 2021

This months pet of the month is Suki!

Suki presented for a routine examination when Catalin (our new vet!) spotted changes in her eyes. When taking a blood pressure measurement it was noted that her blood pressure was far higher than it should be.

In many instances high blood pressure is as a consequence to other diseases and a blood test revealed a concurrent over-active thyroid.

Suki has now started treatment and will have her blood pressure checked regularly as part of her monitoring.
