+ What do I need to think about for my new puppy?

There are many things to think about, the list below is certainly not exhaustive but acts as a core template to help you get started:

  • Vaccinations
  • Microchipping
  • Insurance
  • Parasite control
  • Dental Care
  • Socialisation
  • Neutering
  • Training
  • Nutrition and feeding
  • Choosing the right veterinary clinic for you and your pet

+ How can a vet help?

There is always so much to know about bringing a puppy home and so many places where information can be sought that it all quickly becomes overwhelming. Booking a consultation with our qualified nurses and vets offers a fast way to sort through the information available and focus on what is important at each stage of development. Covering as much or as little as you want, we can continue to see you until all your questions are answered. Joining our wellness subscriptions means you won’t have to worry about remembering all the information in one go, and can continue to ask anything that comes to mind in many visits. Not only does this help your confidence in puppy care grow, but it also helps socialise your puppy and soften their experience at the vets. A dog that enjoys visitng the vet is always a pleasure!

+ How long does the treatment take?

First consultations are usually half an hour and subsequent consultations are 15 minutes. Obviously, this depends on what you ask and what is your concern!

Generally we see you and your puppy for their first vaccination and microchipping (if not done already), which can both be administered at our first consultation if your puppy is considered healthy and strong.

+ How many visits are required?

As many as you need. A summary of all care aspects can be given in 30 mins, or longer, more detailed, discussions can be booked. In any case we recommend our wellness subscriptions so you don’t have to worry about the costs of advice at such a critical period in life.

+ How much does it cost?

We recommend all puppies are subscribed to our Silver or Gold Subscriptions. These packages include our puppy clinics alongside complimentary vaccination and microchipping. Everyone has different levels of experience and so when you come join us we can help you decide which subscription suits your needs the most.
