October Clinic Update: The Baby Has Arrived & New Messaging Service!

Meet Arabella Josephine Thomson-Horner

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of little Arabella Josephine! Weighting 6lb 7oz, Arabella arrived on the 23rd September 2022 at 06:07. Both Arabella and Anneli (James’ wife) are doing really well, and James is so proud!

James is taking 2 weeks paternity leave and will be back in the practice from the 8th October.

Our New Whatsapp Messaging Service

As a practice we want to help provide the best care to our patients and advice to all our clients. Some of patients find the experience of travelling to the practice, and the time in the consultation room, very stressful. Whilst many examinations are essential to be carried out in person, certain advice and follow up assessments may be able to be done virtually.

Our initial step is to start using a practice messaging service via WhatsApp - the mobile number is 07568 229686. This will be monitored by the team during working hours so drop us a message!

The next step for us is to develop our means of offering video consultations. Watch this space in the introduction of this service!

Travelling with your pet

A repeat from last month, but for those thinking of travelling in the future, you cannot be over-prepared.

Going to Europe with your pet now requires specific paperwork known as the Animal Health Certificate. Make sure you know everything you need in good time so there is no last minute rush.

Dental Care

Teeth are a commonly neglected area of our pet’s health. If left too long extensive surgery and tooth removal is needed to alleviate pain. Learn more about what we look out for and what you can do to promote good dental health!
